Erkin Guney: pending miscarriage of justice

Erkin Guney is currently on remand on the allegation of soliciting the murder of his late father's partner, Diane Holliday. We believe this to be another pending miscarriage of justice. Erkin completely pleads his innocence in this matter and believes that yet again he has been "fitted up".

Surrey Police arrested the father-of-three on 15 July and he appeared before Woking magistrates on 17 July. He faces a charge that he ‘solicited, encouraged, persuaded, endeavoured to persuade or proposed to a male known as ‘Zaf’ to murder Diane Holliday.’

Miss Holliday was the partner of Erkin's father, Ramadan Guney, at the time of his death in November 2006.

Erkin Guney was remanded in custody and the case is scheduled to be heard at the Central Criminal Court, the Old Bailey, in London, in April.

Miss Holliday, who lives in Knaphill, has been the subject of her own headlines:
